“It was a glorious summers day, everything bathed in the heat of the midday sun, not a shadow in sight beneath the immaculate blue sky in Positano. He felt the constant gentle sea breeze, with its slight saltiness, caressing everything in its path, a reminder of the sea’s proximity. Standing proud, the unique, steeply-stepped houses nestled in the hillside, in tons of peach, pink and terracotta, all paying homage to the coast. He was fascinated by the tiny, well-kept gardens with lemon and orange trees laidened with fruit, together with pots brimming with lavender, bayleaf, rosemary and thyme that instantly evoke the aromatic indulgence of the Mediterranean cuisine.
